Vietnam retailers selling PCs with original Windows 7
Microsoft’s Windows 7 operating system, launched worldwide on October 22, has been made available in new PCs sold by many Vietnamese retailers, the company said in a statement released Saturday.

Among the retailers having Windows 7 installed on their PCs are Nguyen Kim, Phong Vu, Tran Anh and Dang Khoa, the company said.

Hoang Anh Tuan, sales manager at Tran Anh Computer Company, said many customers at the chain wanted to buy new PCs with Microsoft’s Windows 7 after the launch of the operating system last month.

The new product has received positive feedback from all the customers, who said it is faster and more user-friendly, Tuan said.

Microsoft, the US software giant, launched Windows 7 following the disappointment of its previous operating system Vista.

The new features in Windows 7 include a redesigned taskbar for launching programs and switching windows, enhanced ability to share files and stream digital music or video and improved photo and video editing software, according to the company.
