Organized by the Vietnamese Association of Students, the festival aims to strengthen the relationship between youths living in the region while providing them an opportunity to study the establishment and evolution of ASEAN.
To be held at the Hanoi University, the event will include a camp, an exhibition titled ASEAN – Dat nuoc, con nguoi (ASEAN – Nations, People), a seminar titled Tuoi tre huong toi ASEAN nang dong, phat trien (Youths targeting a dynamic, developed ASEAN), and traditional games, food and fashion shows, and other events from member-nations.
Established in 1967, ASEAN groups ten members – Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Vietnam became a member in 1995.
