Many young Vietnamese expats will join this year's Vietnam Summer Camp 2011, to be held in July in six localities across the nation, according to the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs.
At least 150 young delegates from nearly 30 countries and territories worldwide have been invited to participate in various activities of the July 7-24 event held in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hue city, Quang Ninh, Nghe An and Dong Nai provinces.
The expats will visit national historical and cultural monuments in the three regions of Vietnam. They will also meet and exchange views with their peers in the home country.
The annual camp, which was first held by the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese in 2003, aims to connect young Vietnamese expatriates to their motherland by learning its culture, history and language.
