A local nursery in central Vietnam said Saturday it is considering discipline measures against a teacher who allegedly pulled a five-year-old girl by her ear, causing bleeding.
Nguyen Thi Thanh Luyen, 40, had earlier visited the family of the student in Nghe An Province to apologize.
Luyen, who has been working at the school for 16 years, reportedly grabbed the little girl’s left ear and dragged her out of a fight with her classmate over a seat.
The girl’s mother discovered the bleeding when she took her daughter home later, VnExpress news website reported.
She reported the case to local authorities, who said they would hold a meeting on Monday (March 16) to resolve the incident.
