Addressing 325 students and post-graduates at the ceremony, Nhan encouraged VGU to continue improving its strength at Electrical Engineering, especially at robotics. Its students won a national soccer tournament for robots, known as Soccerbot 2015, on October 17.
Nhan also met with the university leaders to find out about its project of a new campus on a 50.5 hectare area in Binh Duong Province. The World Bank in 2010 approved a loan of US$180 million which will be used mainly for the construction of the new campus.
