Hanoi hosts youth arts festival

The National Youth Fine Arts Festival for artists from 18 to 35 opened at the Culture-Arts Exhibition Center in Hanoi on November 28.

The event, to run until December 9, showcases 155 artworks selected from 953 by nearly 500 artists, including graphics, sculptures, installation and video art, and paintings.

The themes of the works are creativity, contemporary society, modernization, industrialization, and national security.

The show, which opened with two video art performances by Le Nguyen Manh and Nguyen Van He, is being organized by the Department of Fine Arts, Photography, and Exhibition.
