A scientific film festival for youth and children full of fun facts about technology, nature and environment will be brought to Vietnam later this month.

The festival, organized by the Goethe Institute in Hanoi, will feature 19 films on scientific fun facts around the earth, including spaceship flights, underground streams, boiling eggs in natural hot water and updates about latest events including the Fukushima nuclear power crisis.

All films are screened with Vietnamese subtitles, with educational content for children between six to 18 years of age.

The festival, which has been a success in many Southeast Asian countries, will start its Vietnam journey at the Trung Vuong Junior High School in Hanoi on November 11, before moving on to other large cities and provinces across the country until November 27.
