More than 30 French and German universities will introduce their master's and PhD programs in science, technology, and economics at an education fair to be held in major Vietnamese cities next month.
The third edition of the fair is, according to a press release from the French embassy, in response to a Ministry of Education and Training plan to have 20,000 people with doctorates in Vietnam, half of them obtained from foreign universities, by 2020.
Visitors to the fair can also learn about scholarships and registration procedures through seminars to be organized at the event by the embassy, Campus France, and the German Economic Exchange Service.
The fair will be held at the REX hotel in Ho Chi Minh City on December 3, Mélia hotel in Hanoi on December 4, and for the first time in Da Nang at Da Nang University on December 6.
The previous fair was held in January 2010 in HCMC and Hanoi.
