Da Nang students ready for a happy Halloween

Universities in Da Nang City will host several activities on October 31 to celebrate Halloween.

The College of Technology will kick off its Monster House event at 7:30 p.m. at Hall B, where 1,000 students will perform "Monster dances," magic tricks, game shows, and masquerades, alongside enjoying a unique Halloween buffet.

Students say they are excited to have their own Halloween event after years of lobbying.

The city's Soft Skills Club is also hosting a Halloween event also on October 31.

According to club member Nguyen Huu Trong, he and other members were divided into small groups, each of which is responsible for a certain activity.

Of the groups the club was divided into, the 4Best Group was chosen to host the Soft Skills Clubs Halloween at Da Nang University, 91A Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street, Hai Chau Dist.

The club will test 4Best's event organizing and working skill in groups through Halloween game shows, including Trai cam (Forbidden fruit) and Satan ken re (Satan chooses his son-in-law).

Students and teachers from the Da Nang Softech Multimedia Arena Center will have their own Halloween at the school's 7th floor, 15 Quang Trung Street, Hai Chau District from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on the same evening.

All students and guests will join a masquerade ball for free and take part in games and artistic performances. The event includes a buffet and a lottery to win prizes.

On October 29, students from Da Nang Polytechnic University's Mechanics Department and students of the College of Foreign Languages at Da Nang University will co-organize a Halloween party, featuring a masquerade ball and dances.
