CFVG, a management school born out of a Vietnamese-French governmental agreement, graduated 66 MBAs in Ho Chi Minh City Wednesday.

With nearly 88 percent of the graduates getting "good" and "very good" marks, this year honored CFVG's most academically successful graduating class. The school, Franco-Vietnamese Center for Management Training, opened in 1992.

Fourteen of the graduates plan to continue their studies at France's leading management colleges, Gerard Boivineau, French General Consult in HCMC, said at the event.

CFVG, which was established based on an agreement between the French and Vietnamese agreement, is "a symbol of success" of French training programs in Vietnam, Boivineau said.

Besides the existing MBA, Master in Economics of Banking and Finance, and the Master in Marketing, Sales and Services degrees, the school plans to cooperate with French universities to launch doctoral courses, according to the University of Economics of HCMC, one of CFVG's local partners.
