The final round of E-Biz Arena - an English eloquence contest for Ho Chi Minh City-based university students - will take place on Monday (Nov. 24) with the total value of all prizes being VND100 million (US$4,700).
Twelve students of four team from the Foreign Trade University, the International University, and the University of Education will compete at the final round, themed "The Knight," which will take place at 6 p.m. on Monday, November 24 at Aqua Palace, 307 No Trang Long Street, Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City.
The organizers – the English clubs of the HCMC-based Foreign Trade University and the Labor Culture Palace, said the E-Biz Arena contest is a playground for students to demonstrate their eloquence and debate skills as well as to expand their network.
The finalists - teams HKL, MakeColour, Gravitas and Little Mix - have made it through the first three rounds, namely Upbringing, The Page and The Squire, of the contest, which was launched on Oct. 5.
The judges at the final round include Brian O'Reilly, Managing Director of SEA Management Consulting Company and President of AusCham Vietnam, Dr. Eckart Dutz, General Director of RAPI B2B Office Solutions and General Manager of Pacific Partners, and Nguyen Thi Kieu Mi, a marketing coordinator of the Northeast Asia Open Debate Tournament 2013.
“In general, I think it is a good event, very well-organized, a lot of energy in the room," Dr. Kutz said during the contest's third round.
