The Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in Ho Chi Minh City will run a two-day workshop on "Research and Publication" later this month, the school said in a press release.

The workshop will gather international academics from Australian and Asian universities to deliver lectures and join in interactive sessions to give advice to participants on their projects.

It offers opportunities for professional development, study, research collaboration, social interaction, and networking with academics and PhD candidates from Australia, New Zealand, Vietnam and other countries.

According to the university, known as RMIT, the event supports Vietnam's aim of building the capacity of its higher education institutions, including having more doctorate degree holders and helping young academics build an international reputation by publishing in international journals.

The workshop will be hosted at the Saigon South campus, 702 Nguyen Van Linh Boulevard, District 7, on September 22 and 23.
