I live in an apartment in District 4 overlooking the Ben Nghe Canal and the fabulous new Vo Van Kiet Street.
Every low tide I can see a very ugly orange waste stream flowing into the canal from a pipe across Dai Lo Vo Van Kiet from "CHUONG DUONG," which looks like a bottle depot for soft drink bottles.
I have no idea where this polluting stream is actually coming from but it looks horrible.
Unbelievably, people actually swim and fish in that water.
Is there some way to have the authorities, whoever is in charge of checking for polluters, go to this site at low tide and take a sample to examine for toxins and other pollutants?
