Vietnam's first casino town will be established in the northern highlands province of Lang Son with a total investment of US$2 billion, local news website VnExpress reported Wednesday.
Covering 186 hectares in Cao Loc town, the Hoang Dong Lang Son golf-hotel complex will include twelve casinos, 300 resort villas and an 18-hole golf court, according to the news source.
Six high-ranking hotels and apartments complexes, ten office complexes, and a 50,000 square meter international trade center will also be included in the project, it said.
The project, invested in by Taiwanese-owned Khai Tiep Investment International Joint-stock Company, is expected to be completed in 2013, VnExpress reported.
