Vietnam rises 13 places in export list after WTO membership

The customs department Thursday quoted the World Trade Organization as saying Vietnam has risen 13 places among countries in terms of export since joining the WTO in 2007.

It was in 37th place last year with exports of US$114.6 billion, according to the WTO.

The country's imports were up seven places to 34th at nearly $114 billion.
