The Ho Chi Minh City-based CEO Club and the Japanese Business Association of Ho Chi Minh City have said they will encourage more Japanese investors, especially medium-size companies in supporting industries, to come to Vietnam.

JBAH vice chairman Masaki Yamashita said: "There are not enough manufacturers in the supporting industries in Vietnam, so many parts are still imported."

The CEO Club and JBAH will organize a "Business Connection" program at the Sheraton Saigon Hotel on September 12 to help 400 Vietnamese and Japanese companies know each other and become partners.
