Vietjet’s newest aircraft, an A321 (coded VN-A660), landed in Ho Chi Minh City’s Tan Son Nhat International Airport, Ho Chi Minh City yesterday after flying from Hamburg in Germany.
The aircraft – an A321ceo with Sharklet wingtips – is the latest version of Airbus’ single-aisle family and the first ever in the world to feature 230 seats.
This unique design helps reduce fuel costs, CO2 emissions and noise levels. Furthermore, the A321ceo with Sharklets is also designed to boost cabin efficiency whilst maximizing passenger experience.
With this addition to its fleet, Vietjet is now operating 26 brand-new and modern A320 and A321, helping the new-age airline to improve service quality and further develop its network in Vietnam and across the Asia-Pacific region.
“By welcoming this A321ceo with Sharklets into the Vietjet family, we can meet our expansion plans,” said Mr. Luu Duc Khanh – Vietjet’s Managing Director.
“We are wholly committed to operating brand new aircraft while continuously upgrading our fleet to bring our passengers greater comfort and maximum convenience when flying with Vietjet.”
