New version of Kia K3 only costs US$29,200
Kia passenger model K3 has added a new version EXAT at the attractive price of VND630 million.
With EXAT, Thaco is providing Vietnamese consumers four sedan versions of K3 at prices ranging between VND608 and VND719 million while the two hatchback versions Cerato 1.6AT and 2.0AT cost VND743 and VND760 million.
K3, which is known as Cerato in several foreign markets, is currently one of the best sellers among sedan versions in Vietnam. Its local sale reached 3,328 last year, and 1,111 in the first three months this year, up 78 percent year-on-year.
Its global sale was 432,420 last year and more than 94,700 in the first quarter this year.
EXAT carries the young and sporty design similar to other K3 versions, with daytime running lights, auto headlights and the typical Tiger Nose grille.
The large and luxury space allows great convenience, including leather steering wheel incorporated with sound control function, DVD touch screen incorporated with map, GPS and hand-free Bluetooth connection, automatic air-con, rear air-con, and mini cooler.
The space in front the second seat row is expanded to offer more comfort.
K3 EXAT uses 1.6-liter Gamma gasoline engine of 128 horse power and six-speed automatic gearbox. The driver’s electric seat is programed for comfort, normal and sport modes, while cruise control system enables smooth and energy-saving drive.
The safety system also includes the anti-lock braking system which uses electronic sensors at each wheel hub to detect when wheels start to skid, and electronic brake-force distribution for stable and smooth operation.
The version also has remote control key, theft alert, air bags and seat belt pretensioners which automatically tighten the driver and front passenger’s seats in case of crashes.
K3 products in Vietnam are said to have the most convenient equipment in the region, competitive prices and are the first C-segment version to enjoy the three-year warranty of luxury car lines.
