The Vietnam Employment Manual that aims to help employers comply with the complex labor code has been released and is being provided free of charge upon request.
The 60-page manual, released by the leading recruiting firm Navigos Group and law firm Russin & Vecchi, gives clear interpretations and easy to apply tips for businesses operating in Vietnam, the companies say.
A recent survey of more than 14,000 people conducted by the Navigos Group found around 80 percent of respondents assert that they would not join a company if they knew it violated the labor law. An earlier one found that 87 percent of over 8,000 respondents believed their companies did not adhere to the labor laws in full.
"Our goal is to ensure that our clients can recruit and keep the best talent. Many of our clients concede that they often have questions when applying labor regulations and this can be an obstacle in the recruitment and people management process," said Nguyen Thi Van Anh, managing director of Navigos Group.
