Local real estate firm SSG Group has built an elementary school in Ho Chi Minh City that offers a US-standard education to local kids.
Nguyen Thu Ha, the school's marketing director said the investment was aimed at high-income Vietnamese families who want their children to have an international education.
International School Saigon Pearl will offer classes from nursery through fourth grade from next semester to Vietnamese and other nationalities living in the country, said Ha.
She said the group would expand the school to offer higher classes to local kids in a couple of years.
The school cost VND300 billion and covers 10,000 square meters in Binh Thanh District.
The group has also developed urban and office towers in the area.
