Kohler's powerful and virtual plug free toilets can help save water and money.
The Wellworth Toilet comes in either a 1.6 or 1.28-gpf model, while at least 50 percent of existing toilets still use 3.5 gallons per flush.
The Kohler Highline® Comfort Height model is ergonomically designed for those who want a taller seat, with a bowl two inches taller than an average toilet and the same height as standard household chair.
If the average family of four swaps out a 3.5-gpf toilet for a high efficiency 1.28-gpf toilet, they can save 16,500 gallons per year. And that adds up to a lot of money saved.
To provide a soothing, steady flow of water at a mere 2.0 gallons per minute, Kohler's Purist, Forté, and Bancroft single-function showerheads are all available with Katalyst spray technology. Installing these water-conserving showerheads or handshowers cuts the flow rate to 1.75 gpm, which translates to water savings of 30 percent.
Aerators are small collar-like appliances containing a fine mesh grid that when attached to faucets allows air to be mixed with the solid stream of water. The water pressure remains the same, but the actual volume of water is reduced the more air introduced into the water stream, the more water saved. With this one-step installation, you can save 30 percent of the water used.
