Justin Bieber to unveil Vietnamese robot at CES

Singing sensation Justin Bieber is expected to help launch a toy robot made by Hanoi-based TOSY Robotics at the world's largest consumer technology tradeshow - the 2012 International CES - later this week.

According to an official CES statement, the pop star will help the TOSY Robotics company "unveil their new innovative entertainment robot" at their booth, located in the Robotics TechZone, on Wednesday.

The 2012 International CES will be held from January 10-13 in Las Vegas.

There is no further information in the statement concerning details of the new product.

TOSY Robotics says in a statement on its website that it is the first Vietnamese robotics firm that produces four types of products gigantic robots, service robots, industrial robots and high-tech toys. The company says it plans to become "the world's leading manufacturer in robotics technology."

One of its stand-out product is a robot that can play ping pong.

Bieber, 17, is one of the top selling artists in the world today. His appearance at the 2012 International CES is expected to attract a lot of his fans, mostly teenagers, to the event.
