CyberAgent Ventures, which has invested in nearly 20 startups in Vietnam since 2008, has pledged funding for another local Internet business, news website Bao Dau Tu reported on Wednesday.
The value of the Japanese-owned venture capital firm's funding for housekeeping services provider Jupviec.vn was not revealed, it said.
Nguyen Manh Dung, representative of CyberAgent Ventures, was quoted as saying that it will help the business raise more money so it can expand its activities not only in Vietnam but also other Southeast Asian countries.
Founded in 2012, Jupviec.vn said it now provides services for more than 10,000 customers in Hanoi.
At the end of last year CyberAgent Ventures launched the second fund worth US$50 million for new and existing investments in Southeast Asia, the website reported. Its portfolios in Vietnam include restaurant rating website Foody.vn and online retailer Tiki.vn.
