Honda Vietnam said Tuesday it is recalling 152,053 motorbikes produced this year in which wires to the tail lights and brake lights have been switched.
A Honda statement said the error in the Wave 110 RSX's had been discovered by the company itself and no customer has yet to file a complaint, news website VnExpress reported.
The error occurred in only one batch produced between March 15 and August 20.
A company source said since the two wires are technically similar, the error would not cause a short circuit.
The company said it would not affect the bike's functioning, but could confuse drivers in the back.
It would be fixed for free between September 25 and December 31, it said.
The vehicle costs VND19.79 million (US$950) including taxes.
