Honda Vietnam has announced a recall of 21,181 Civic and CR-V cars containing faulty airbags, a majority of which were manufactured in Vietnam.
These vehicles include 21,171 Civic manufactured from 2006-2011 and CR-V from 2008-2011, and 10 imported Civic and CR-V vehicles manufactured from 2005-2008.
According to Honda Vietnam, some identified problems with inflators of the front seats airbags may affect drivers' safety. However, there has been no recorded accident related to the error, the company said.
The service will begin on November 20.
