Hanoi students to receive AmCham's grants, job opportunities

On January 9, the American Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam will grant 50 scholarships to Northern University students.

The scholarship recipients will be selected from among 300 applicants.

Twenty five of them will receive VND8 million (US$410) each in cash and 25 others VND2.5 million ($128).

Besides, the AmCham Scholars will benefit from a free job skills training course taught by American business leaders in Hanoi and be admitted to the AmCham Scholars Alumni Club.

Their resumés will be sent to the Human Resources departments of more than 1,300 AmCham member companies throughout Vietnam and get priority for possible internship positions.

AmCham Scholarships are only open to full-time Vietnamese seniors from the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam, Foreign Trade University of Hanoi, Hanoi University, Hanoi University of Technology, and National Economics University of Hanoi.

Interested companies can register to attend the ceremony between 10 and 11:30 a.m. at Hilton Hanoi Opera Hotel, 1 Le Thanh Tong Street.
