About 93 percent of dairy farms that supply milk to FrieslandCampina Vietnam have adopted the Good Dairy Farming Practices (GDFP) following a project undertaken by the company to help farmers improve milk quality and volume.

The project, which began in Oct. 2010, have organized extension training programs to help farmers practice measures to ensure the health of dairy cattle and raise the quality of milk.

FrieslandCampina's project also included an inspection system based on international standards to control the quality of fresh milk. The firm's inspectors have made more than 4,100 visits to milk collecting agents. A number of dairy farms and milk collecting agents received high scores from such trips, including VN FutureMilk (Son Duong Tuyen Quang), dairy Thanh Phu (Tan Phu Trung Cu Chi), Mr. Dat's farm (Duc Lap Ha Duc Hoa), Mr. Thang's farm (An Phu cu Chi), and Mr. Cua's farm (Trang Bang Tay Ninh).
