UK hotelier Anthony Gill has been appointed as the new general manager of Life Heritage Resort in Hoi An.
Before coming to the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Gill served as a food and beverage director for InterContinental Hotels Group in Doha, Qatar, and manager for Six Senses in Phuket.
He then spent two years working as executive assistant manager at the Evason Ana Mandara resort in Nha Trang.
In September, the world's premier travel magazine Condé Nast Traveller hailed the Hoi An site as one of the top ten resort destinations in Asia.
The Life Heritage resort is joined on the list by hotels that charge 15 to 20 times as much per night.
"In my short time here at Life Resorts, I've glimpsed enough to know that this place is, by far, the best resort value in Asia," said Gill. "Condé Nast readers didn't get it wrong."
