The world-famous Fortune Magazine has released its list of top 1,000 companies being most admired, in which technology companies (Apple, Google and Amazon) have impressively sustain the top positions. In medical product and equipment category, Fortune introduced Abbott as leader and 2014 also marked the 30th year the company being on the prestigious list.

In Fortune’s Most Admired Companies list, while technology companies have been described as “user-friendly”, “customer centric” to be seen as admired companies, of particular note, Abbott ranked first in Talent Management amongst all companies in the category.
The company has sustained leadership position in health care category globally (examples: No.1 in pediatric nutrition in the U.S. and many international markets; No.1 in adult nutrition worldwide; No. 1 in immunoassay diagnostics; No. 1 in blood screening, etc).
In addition to their science-based innovation and strong presence in emerging markets, Abbott’s focus on developing its employees and building a healthy working environment has contributed to its sustainable leadership.
In Vietnam, recently, Abbott was recognized as one of the “Top 100 Best Places to Work in Vietnam”. Notably, in the category of “Work and Life Quality”, the company achieved the No. 2 position across all industries.
