The Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam () signed an agreement with the Young Businessman’s Association making them eligible for loans for project implementation, said Mr. Phuong Huu Viet – Chairman of the Association.
The loans to the 325 member association would be based on business performance, with medium term loans preferential for consideration, Viet said.
Meanwhile, BIDV would support enterprises with preferential interest rates, forex, and consulting services, he said.
The bank said they would act as a guarantor for business trade, and could arrange loans through the Japan Bank for International Cooperation for those who qualify.
