SCG to hold quality management seminar next week
Thai firm SCG will organize its first “knowledge sharing” session on Total Quality Management (TQM) for marketing and sales on July 30 in Ho Chi Minh City.

The first of three seminars, open to business owners and marketing and sales individuals, is designed to enhance the capacity of professionals in Vietnam on quality management issues.

SCG said the event will cover important topics including an overview of TQM, TQM for marketing and sales purposes, and profiles of companies with excellent TQM.

The three seminars will serve as a forum for TQM experts to share knowledge and experience with Vietnamese managers.

The key speaker of the seminars will be Suchada Assawaharutai from the Corporate Total Quality Promotion Center.

TQM is a management approach for an organization centered on quality and based on the participation of all members to achieve long-term success through customer satisfaction.

Established in 1990, SCG Vietnam, a subsidiary of SCG Group, focuses on five core businesses of chemicals, paper, cement, building materials, distribution, with seven branches operating around the country.
