A scene from the movie "Wuthering Heights"
The British romantic drama "Wuthering Heights," the most recent film adaptation of Emily Bronte's 1847 novel of the same name, will be screened for free throughout Vietnam from May 23 to 26 as part of the 2013 European Film Festival.
"Wuthering Heights" will be shown in Hanoi on May 25 at 10:00 a.m. and May 26 at 8:00 p.m. at the National Cinema Center at 87 Lang Ha Street, Ba Dinh District.
In Da Nang, the movie will be screened at Le Do cinema at 46 Tran Phu Street at 8:00 p.m. on May 26.
It will be screened in Ho Chi Minh City at 7:00 p.m. on May 23 and May 25 at Cinebox cinema, 212 Ly Chinh Thang Street, District 3.
Tickets are available at the British Council at 20 Thuy Khue Street in Hanoi and 25 Le Duan Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.
The movie "Wuthering Heights" was produced in 2011 and was nominated for the Golden Lion, the top prize awarded at the Venice Film Festival, one of the biggest film festivals of the world, that same year.
The 14th European Film Festival kicked off in Vietnam on May 15 and will last until May 26. It showcases Europe's cultural diversity, portrayed in 16 films produced in 14 different EU Member States.
