World-renowned DJs from America and France will devote their talent to Hanoi's electronica fans in two separate music events this weekend and next month respectively.
Six-time world DJ champion Craze will perform at the Heineken Green Planet 2011 celebration in Hanoi on March 19.
Craze, voted America's best DJ in 2001 by Time magazine, will mostly play hits by record label Slow Roast.
The 34-year-old artist, who plays hip hop, Miami bass, breaks, Dubstep, and drum "˜n' bass, is also the only solo DJ to claim the World Disco Mix Club Champion trophy three times in a row from 1998 to 2000.
Craze is also a producer of drum 'n' bass records for Cartel, BreakbeatKaos, and C.I.A labels; and of hip-hop musical entertainment products for leading labels DMC, Ninja Tune, OM, and K7.
Before Vietnam, Craze was touring Australia, Japan, Iceland, Nicaragua and France.
Ticket are available at www.heinekenmusic.com.vn.
Following Craze, well-known French DJ and producer Alex Millan will return to Vietnam to perform an evening of electronic music at the French Culture Center, or L'Espace, on April 2.
Millan regularly performs overseas and his work has been played all over the world.
The French artist is also a successful producer who has been signed to a number of famed international labels.
Vietnamese DJ Tri Minh and electric violinist Trinh Minh Hien will both participate in the event.
Tickets, which cost VND50,000 (US$2.4) for two people, are currently on sale at L'Espace, 24 Trang Tien Street.
