Welsh award-winning singer to perform in Ho Chi Minh City

Georgia Ruth, a singer-songwriter and also a harpist who won a Welsh award for the best new music last year, will perform with her band in Ho Chi Minh City next week.
During the show, due to begin 8 p.m. at the HCMC Conservatory of Music on July 1, the 24-year-old artist will perform songs from her debut album “Week of Pines” that helped her win the 2013 Welsh Music Prize.
The album, which consists of both English and Welsh songs, was hailed for its mixtures of soft pop and reimagined traditional music.
The HCMC Conservatory of Music is located at 112 Nguyen Du Street, District 1.
