The first-ever Vietnamese movie about hip-hop dance, Vu dieu dam me (Passionate dance), will premiere Friday at local cinemas.

The film is about young people who love and pursue hip-hop despite all the challenges like their parents' disapproval. The cast includes mainly members of famous dance groups.

The choreography was also done by some of Vietnam's leading dance groups like Sacred Ent, Halley, and Viet Part. Many scenes, meanwhile, were filmed under the Long Bien Bridge or other places in Hanoi known to be local hip-hop hang outs.

The film's post-production was done in Thailand.
