An exhibition of ten paintings presenting the culture and beauty of Vietnam and its people was opened at the Vietnam Embassy in the UK Monday.

Named The Land of Hidden Charms, the first-ever exhibition to be held at the embassy displays paintings like Thieu nu voi hoa sen (Young lady and lotus) by Nguyen Thanh Binh, and Phong cach Hue (Hue style) by Do Duy Tuan.

The event is organized by the embassy in cooperation with the UK-based Oc-Eo Gallery, which specializes in contemporary and modern fine arts including sculpture and photography from Asia, particularly Vietnam.

The exhibition will be open during working hours from Monday to Friday at 12 Victoria Road, London W8 5RD.
