The latest collection from Ho Chi Minh-based designer Vo Viet Chung debuted on September 6
in New York City during Couture Fashion Week.
Chung’s collection featured elaborate black gowns and stylized Ao Dai and was selected as one the five to be shown during the much-coveted "golden hour" of 7 p.m.
Chung was the only Vietnamese national at the New York event, which featured collections from 50 designers from all over the world.
Chung said he would feature the collection at two other fashion festivals in France at the end of this month and in Singapore in November.
