Vietnamese contestant wins top-five spot at Manhunt Int'l

Vietnamese representative Truong Nam Thanh was crowned third runner-up at the Manhunt International 2011 that wrapped up in Seoul, South Korea on October 10.

 

This is the highest achievement by a male model in a prestigious international beauty contest like Manhunt.

 

While fans have expressed surprise at the up and coming model's accomplishment, 20-year-old Thanh had always remained among the top vote puller during the contest.

 

In the finale, Thanh was awarded "Mr Manhunt Popularity" before coming in fourth.

 

China's Chen JianFeng, 26, emerged the winner of this year's pageant.

 

The first runner-up was the Dominican Republic's Nelson Sterling, while  Belgium's Gianni Sennesael came in third. The fifth place was taken by Slovak Republic's Martin Smahel.

 

The contest was held in Seoul, Korea from September 28 to October 12.
