Vietnam to put on vast cultural exhibition

More than 600 cultural artifacts from Vietnam, China, Cambodia, Thailand, Japan and North Korea will be on display this summer at the Can Tho Museum in the Mekong Delta.

The show, which will run until Aug 22nd, includes pieces from over 60 private collections. Thirty three collectors have donated 91 Vietnamese relics from the Ly, Tran and Le dynasties between the third and 17th centuries - to the museum.

This is one of the broadest displays of this nature ever to take place in Vietnam.
