Vietnam to organize cultural events in the US

A fashion collection designed by Minh Hanh to be introduced in the US this August 
Four music and fashion shows and an exhibition featuring Vietnamese culture will be held in Washington DC and New York from August 8 to 12 as part of activities to celebrate the 20th anniversary of normalization of relations between Vietnam and the US.
The event called Vietnamese Cultural Days in the USA will launch with a folk music concert entitled “Huong Sac Viet Nam” (Fragrance and Color of Vietnam) on the evening of August 8 at the Terrace Theater in the Kennedy Center, Washington DC.
It will be followed by two other folk music nights at the Millennium Stage of the center on August 10 and 11.
A fashion show scheduled on August 9 at the Millennium Stage will take several collections of Vietnamese top designers – Minh Hanh, Lan Huong, Quang Nhat and Chula – to the catwalk.
An exhibition displaying Vietnam’s traditional costumes and musical instruments will be held at the New-York Historical Society in New York City on August 12.
