Vietnam will compete at "the biggest game show in the world" in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from Oct 30 to Nov 6, organizers said at a press conference in Ho Chi Minh City on Sep 21.

This year's international game show will be co-organized by Hong Kong's Ice-TV, French-based Mistral Production, and Vietnam's Let's Viet VTC9 together with other four participating countries - the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, and Egypt.

Thirty representatives from Vietnam, winners from competitions to be held in HCMC, Hanoi, and Da Nang City respectively on Sep 26, 29 and Oct 1, will be sent to compete in Kuala Lumpur.

The event will be broadcast on VTC9 at 7:30 p.m. every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

Previously, Vietnamese Television had purchased the game show's copyright from Mistral Production and broadcast it in the country since 1996 under the name of Tro choi lien tinh and made it a huge success.
