Vietnam private museum receives $23,800 for development

Central Vietnam hub Da Nang has announced US$23,800 will be invested into the only private museum in the city, Tuoi Tre reported Friday.

The money will be given to Doan Huy Giao, the owner of Dong Dinh museum, to collect more items, especially those concerning the traditional fishing trade in the area.

Dong Dinh houses hundreds of items dating back between 100 to 2,500 years ago that tell the stories of different cultures in Vietnam, such as Champa, Sa Huynh and Dai Viet. The museum is listed as one of the attractions in Da Nang.
