Vietnam joins culture fair in Switzerland

Vietnam is a special guest in the fall fair Zuespa 2011 held in Zurich, Switzerland from September 23 to October 2, on the 40th anniversary of Vietnam-Switzerland diplomatic relations (October 11, 1971 October 11, 2011).

 

At the Vietnamese kiosk, jubilant icons representing Vietnamese life are displayed, such as wood engravings, paintings, letter-cutting and coracle knitting, which is first-time showcased by the fishermen from Ba Ria Vung Tau province's Long Hai town. 

 

Hoang Van Nha, Vietnamese Ambassador in Switzerland said that it is Vietnam's great honor to become the special guest at the prestigious cultural fair like Zuespa, which enhances the traditional relationship and cooperation between two nations.

 

Vietnamese cyclo, delectable delicacies and handicrafts also interest many foreigners at the fair.

 

The fair's organizer said that there are around 580 pavilions from nations and the event has attracts hundreds of thousands visitors to Zurich.
