The Great Taste of Canada, an annual Canadian culinary festival, started March 24 and will continue until April 10, 2011, at Don's Tay Ho Restaurant, in Hanoi.
Organized by the Canadian Embassy, the special menu will feature Canadian oysters, Dungeness crab, lobster and shellfish, as well as Alberta beef. During the occasion, two Canadian gala dinners were scheduled for March 24 and 25 at the restaurant.
"The Embassy of Canada is proud and delighted to offer Hanoians an opportunity to experience the finest Canadian beef, wine, and seafood," remarked Deborah Chatsis, Canadian Ambassador.
"We want delicious, safe, healthy Canadian foodstuffs and beverages to become part of the modern Vietnamese fine dining culture and lifestyle. We hope you will enjoy the great quality of our cuisine, from the pristine oceans and pastures of Canada."
