The Asian centre and Vietnam Records Book Centre has agreed to the joint name of "Vietnam Book of Records Center".

The new name will appear on their official website and annual record book as of May 31.

The Vietnam Records Book Centre, nicknamed Vietkings, will also refer the 20 entries they compiled for a new "Asia Book of Records."

The entries include the unique architecture of One-Pillar Pagoda in Ha Noi, the biggest bronze pagoda at Yen Tu Pagodas Complex in the northern province of Quang Ninh; the largest butterfly collection by Nguyen Viet Vui, and sound imitator Quach Ho Ninh.

The agreement between the two centers was made on May 4, 2011 for the exchange of record related information. This is also the first standard to recognize the initial Asia records of Vietnam.

Vietkings also plans to organize the first event called "Asia Record-holders' rendezvous" and held in Vung Tau coastal town in November.
