The leader of the famoust Vietnamese rock band Re-Cycle has introduced his 3D Christmas paintings in the Hanoi streets, the VnExpress news web site reported.

Two of Nguyen Viet Dung's street paintings, including "Santa Claus's Secret" and "Snow's Shelter" were completed only a few days ago to welcome in the holiday season.

"The biggest difficulty with the large paintings like this is finding suitable premises to display them, and obtaining local permission. For both more flexibility with the referendum display and for storage purposes, I draw on large cloth canvases," he told VnExpress.

This 27 year old rock vocalist, one of the few artists in Vietnam who draws 3D street paintings, is involved with a myriad of artistic media.

His first work, "Permanent Technology," created controversy when it was introduced on the Internet last year.
