Trio FUGU, who has performed in many of the world’s most prestigious concert halls, will share the stage with local talents at a symphony concert in Ho Chi Minh City this Thursday.
Among the Vietnamese artists are violinist Bui Cong Duy, clarinettist Dao Nhat Quang, violinist Tang Thanh Nam and violist Bui Anh Son.
They will entertain audience with famous works of Mozart while trio FUGU will bring to the stage vibrant Latin beats with works of Argentine-born Astor Piazzolla as well as classical and sacred music by Estonian contemporary composer Arvo Part.
The members of trio FUGU - pianist Ming Tsu, violinist Lorenz Gamma and cellist Joon Sung Jun - perform and teach regularly at numerous festivals in the U.S., Mexico, China, Korea, Vietnam, Cambodia, Kazakhstan and many European countries such as Germany, France, Italy and Switzerland.
They have recorded chamber music works for Cambria Records, Centaur Records, Cuneiform Records, EAR Records, ECM Records, Innova Recordings, Suisa and Tilia Records
