The Vietnamese Cultural Center in France will host a photo exhibition on Vietnam's traditional Quan Ho folk singing on January 21 and 22, the Lao Dong (Labor) newspaper reported.

In addition to 50 photos and objects related to the art form, there will also be film shows and performances, the report said.

On the occasion, two Quan Ho troupes will perform in Paris and other French cities.

The program is the brain-child of the Vietnam Art and Culture Institute and the center, and will be organized in cooperation with the provinces of Bac Ninh and Bac Giang.

Quan Ho is usually performed by a team of male and female singers during spring, and is mostly based on the themes of love and sentimentality.
