World renowned precision driver Russ Swift is wowing crowds in Ho Chi Minh City at an international car exhibition this week.
The 59-year-old Briton is performing some of his world-record setting stunts for HCMC viewers in his Subaru Impreza as part of his first visit to Vietnam.
Swift's most popular tricks include driving the car on two wheels and braking with the steering wheel.
He will perform from Friday to Sunday, 10a.m., 12p.m., 2p.m., and 4p.m., at the Saigon Autotech 2010 show, located at the Tan Binh Exhibition and Convention Center, 446 Hoang Van Thu Street, Tan Binh District.
Vietnam Auto Image, Ltd., the sole Subaru distributor in Vietnam, is sponsoring the performances.
Swift has held more than 8,000 stunt shows in 50 countries. He won three Guiness World Records for parallel parking in the tighest space, performing a J-turn in the tightest space, and the fastest time for doing ten do-nuts in 16.07 seconds.
His driving skills were officially recognized in 1987 when he performed in an Austin Montego for a television commercial, which was featured at the Cannes Film Festival. Swift has been featured in many TV commercials and has cooperated with many TV shows.
