Thanh Nien music show to raise funds for students, young fishers

Thanh Nien's 5th Khat Vong Tre (Youth's Aspiration) charity music show in Hanoi tomorrow will feature such pop stars as My Linh and My Tam.

Themed "Flying high with the Vietnamese youth's aspiration," the show will raise funds for students and young fishermen.

There will be also performances by many other Vietnamese famous singers including Cam Ly, Ha Anh Tuan, Phuong Linh, Phuong Vy, Van Mai Huong, all-boy band M4U and all-girl group Co La (Strange Grass), and models like Ha Hoang Anh and Phan Huong Giang.

They will be joined by acrobats from the Vietnam Circus Federation and dancers from Thang Long and ABC groups.

A total of 400 performers will take part in this ticket-free show, which also includes choirs from the Hanoi College of Arts and National University of Art Education will back the singers.

Soldiers from the Information Corps of Vietnam People's Army will dance at the event. 

Songs to praise the passion and ideals of youths during wartime and those of today's generations will be performed in the 95-minute show hosted by award-winning model and actor Binh Minh and emcee Tuong Van.

It will be televised live on VTV1 at 8 pm from the Quan Ngua Sports Complex.

Thanh Nien organized Youth's Aspiration twice in 2010 and 2011 each in Can Tho, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, and Hanoi.
